A television advertisement for the new ghost flick The Woman in Black caught my eye today. Yes, it is PG-13, which means it might be pared back in terms of gore, but there have been quite a few good haunting films that have received the less-adult rating. Perhaps it's because paranormal movies are about what you don't see.
Anyway, Daniel Radcliffe stars in the film about a lawyer plagued by the titular woman in black in a small village. One wonders why young Harry can't ward off the ghost by a simple incantation, but I could be getting my films mixed up.
The trailer above does have a certain Others feel to it, thanks to the clothing style and the dark, dreary lighting. But it often looks promising on its own merit, even if trailers can be mighty deceiving. Below, find a clip from the flick titled "The Bedroom". Sounds sexy.

And one more clip from The Sun, which features the all-too-common pop-up scare from behind a peephole.
The film hits theaters February 3. Will you be attending to see Harry defeat the supernatural forces of evil again?
