I love Wolves in the Throne Room, I really do. Atmospheric black metal with raw vocals, the band's tracks generally span lengthy run times with repetitive guitar riffs that slowly work their way up to climaxes of eruption. Much of WitTR's music is melancholy or downright bleak, with lyrics dealing with sorrow, depression, and doom. It's not a far departure from other black metal of its ilk, but WitTR definitely pulls all of these themes together into one interesting package.
